WTF????????????????????

I am so sick of seeing these asswipe managers lose games.

A leadoff guy gets on with a tie game.........then NO BUNT! WTF?

Hitter grounds into double play or forceout.

This makes ZERO sense. ZERO.

I've coached ball forever and this is really inexcusable at any level.

Depends on whose up in the lineup. If you got your big bats then no swing away, all depends on situation

I'm guessing you mean the Padres?

Surprising too, since Bud Black learned under Mike Scioscia and he's one of few AL managers to bunt in that situation.

b/c most guys can't bunt. how often do you see the guy pop up a f*ing bunt or foul two off? 50% of the time?

must consider many factors. if you have coached ball "forever" then you know its not the best play 100% of the time. i want a coach that can adapt to the situation not one that says it makes "zero" sense to not bunt. :ughhh: your post is an odd blanket statement by a coach.

only get 27 outs a game. why give them away? even if you bunt him over, their are no guarantees that he will score.

just depends on the situation...period... most of the time you don't want you 3,4,5 hitters bunting... then you don't want your #8 hitter bunting in the NL to get to the pitcher. Even if you have a pinch hitter, chances are that guy is a pinch hitter because he is not good enough to start somewhere in the field....unless you have a star player who is getting the day off of course.

If he's talking about the Padres last night... then bunting would've been the prudent thing to do.

They had a light hitting Blum up with the Giles brothers (both batting above. 300) up next. Brian Giles hit a single which would've been the GW hit.

FUCK. See, this f*ing morons don't know how to bunt.

Someone named Miguel Oliva, a .240 career hitter just went ball, bunt foul, bunt foul, GROUND OUT TO SHORT after the lead off hitter doubles in the bottom of the 13th for Florida. That is why they don't bunt, BECAUSE MAJOR FUCKING LEAGUERS DON'T KNOW HOW!!!!!:fckmad::headbeat::headbeat::carto1710:carto1710:bigfinger:bigfinger:bigfinger:bigfinger:bigfinger:bigfinger:bigfinger:bigfinger:bigfinger:bigfinger

It is true they do not bunt much anymore. Give me examples of where and when they should bunt. It is a case bycase basis. Who is up. on deck, on first, pitching? Give examples and we will gladly discuss.

Yes Padres.

Correct Earl, I know this. My post was made out of rage.

Correct MLB players cannot bunt.

It works a lot less of the time then it doesn't work....

When you bunt a guy over you need a hit to score him...

If you get a hit it is most likely 1st and 3rd with decent speed.... and all u need is a fly ball by your next hitter to win the game...

Guys get bunts down as often in the major leagues as they hit singles these days...
