HE TOLD ME I COULD SHARE THIS
Alan,
I would love to meet you also but unfortunately I will
still be in the Philippines. I will come to LV NEXT
Feb or Mar. In time for MLB. Yes I have made money
every year for many yrs, sometimes large and some
small.
I think you did a smart thing going with Doc's. Why
not cash in on what you are doing already. I was
amused by the bashers calling you a traitor.
GOING TO TRY TO MEET HIM NEXT YEAR
PART 2
The NBA story.
1962-65 bet 1-2 gms every day. 95% win rate.
1) There were no PCs and virtually no stat information
other that The Gold Sheet.
2) There was little communication available aother
than the telephone.
3) There were 6 players who were relatives, neighbors
or lifelong friends.
4) There were no telephone number salaries so players
were happy to get $100-200/wk cash. They called 30
minutes before tipoff and advised:
who wasn't feeling good
who was mad at something - fight with wife etc
who had birthday or anniversary
who felt really good and most importantly
who was going to play 5 minutes and sit out the rest
5) We used 35 books in 3 states limiting each bet to
only 5 books unless there was a 5 minute deal and then
we used all 35 plus the layoff book in NYC.
You say this is all interesting information but how
did it lead to sucha win percentage.
Because every game there were totals for each starter.
The totals were always their season average +or- 1
pt.
We would discuss all the information and pare it down
to 1 or 2 players.
Alan, it was like having the key to Ft Knox.
Take care ########
I WAS BORN TO LATE...WISH I STARTED BETTING AND KNEW YOU AT 8 YEARS OLD!!!!!:missingte
