Homer play here, I really don't see the Braves pulling this one out. Gonzalez' status is up in the air, his elbow has been bothering him and while it doesn't appear to be too bad he's gotten an MRI and most likely won't be available tonight. Doubt he's headed to the DL but 99% not playing tonight. Wickman has pitched last 3 games, Soriano pitched almost 2 innings 2 games ago and the bullpen looks a bit haggard.

Rich Hill coming in looking like one of the best young starters in the NL, facing "The Re-Tread," Mark Redman, who has given up 12 ER in 8+IP so far. I think he'll improve a bit tonight but still see him giving up 3-4ER and not going more than 5-6IP. At -125 I think the Cubs is a good value here.

Also Rich Hill doesn't give up many HR, and this Braves team early in this season has really only been scoring via the long-ball with the sole exception of last night's game. They haven't been able to get that clutch single, double when they need it, scoring almost 60% of their runs (last I checked) with HRs...don't see that happening against Hill.

That was very well-said and pretty much my thoughts on this game tonight. Only exception, is the Cubs are the worst team in baseball right now vs. lefties - and I think with Redman making a career-deciding start, he may be somehwhat effective tonight and hold the Cubs down a bit. If Redman has another bad outing, his career could be in serious jeopardy after tonight. I think the Cubs win here, but I dont see them going off offensively.

Hill has been dominant but how long can it keep up at this outstanding pace? Pitching on the road tonight vs. one of the better home teams in baseball. I think he will also be effective with that 12-6 curveball, limiting the Braves chances to continue to hit homeruns, ground into some double plays, and kill some innings.

I took the under small.
