How many HR's do you think A-Rod will hit realisticly.

With today's walkoff moonshot, A-Rod cracked his 10th tater, putting him on a ridiculous pace for 116 for the season.

Of course he's going to cool down.
Can A-Rod realisticly hit 80?
Will he break Bonds record?

I personally think hitting 4th in that line up 75 is realistic.

60...

Obvious that he is really locked in...I think he wants to rub it in the Yankees' fans faces when he wins the MVP...puts up monstrous #'s...and then opts out of his contract.

I would love to see him make a run at 73...just a real tough number.

With any type of post season success this season, A-Rod ain't opting out of nothing.

He's getting the love he wants, and it's real love.
George has the money, A-Rod wants NY.

Bonds is garbage and I hope he breaks his single-season record and then down the road he will definitely break his all-time record if/when he gets it.

Why does A-Rod's name never come up when it comes to juicing? Not accusing, just wondering. He was a pretty skinny player when he came up.

Playing in Yankee Stadium , it's a tough park for righthanded hitters to pile up high home run totals...He already broke Joe D record for homers in a season at Yankee a couple years back....tough park though, i would love to see him hit 85 homers and just destroy the record lol.

I will predict 65, I would be shocked at anything under 50 at this point.

I've often wondered this too...this is the real shame, anyone who's really good will be questioned from now on.

without HGH testing (only detectable by blood) we will never know

I do consider ARod to be one of my favorite players yet if you put the pieces together with him I would not be shocked for one red second if he has a chemist working for him. Here is why. The NY media and even some of his teammates have been very critical of him since he walked into the dugout with all that money. He had a terrible post season and didn't even come up with the big late inning hits during the regular season. He is playing in probably the toughest ball park in baseball for righthanders to hit home runs so he gets sick of hearing about his struggles and figures "why not a bit of help" since he if he has a big season he gets a re up with NY or if he moves on he can write his own ticket.

I have heard stories on sports radio that say the chemists are at least 5 years ahead of testing.

People close to A-Rod say he fears 'roids and what it could do to him.
I believe this.
Doubt if he has a chemist.
He's a weight room rat, plus that and the fact he altered his swing this year to a more powerful compact swing.

J-Man, take a close look at his swing in the link in post 5.
Much shorter than last years.
