hey guys just wanted to ask ur input on something ive been thinking about tonight

my best friend for about 4-5 years is EXTREMELY obese.
Im talking 400+

He has a lot of confidence and is great to be around. He almost even gets more women then I do!

I am just really worried that if he keeps going the rate he is he'll be dead by the time he's 30... he's 23..

any advice on how I can change his outlook on food and life in general.

This guy thinks about his next meal while he's eating the one in front of him

I think a bigger problem is that your friend is 400lbs and he gets "almost" more pu$$y than you.

Dude i would honestly just talk to him straight up, tell him the truth and your true concerns. Tell him your not out to make fun of him or bad mouth him just tell him your worried for his health. There is a health and fitness room on the boards though I would recommend going in there and asking the question in there

Keep telling yourself that.

Anyways, you just got to knock the fork out of his hand - pretty simple - or he could take up cocaine on a regular basis.

People do what they want - unless it's your child, don't try to modify someone else's behavior

HE needs help. He need intervention, to talk to somebody like a shrink or hypnosis etc. He has to CHANGE and that is very very hard. Doable but hard. It has to come from him and if not there is nothing you or anyone can do. I know a few obese people and am fascinated by the topic (as well as drug abuse, alcoholics etc..all the same to me)....most do not GET IT.

I am sure you are not the only one concerned for him. If he wants to help himself he will.

join a health club together .

hire a trainer and a nutritionist together .

maybe even get another friend or 2 involved.

how can he say no if you and some other friends are willing to go to that level to help him.
