Back when Direct TV announced the Superfan package for the NFL and all the perks red zone and other new channels everyone said how wonderful and cool it would be. I tried to explain that anyone with HDTV was getting screwed for an additional cost. Once people realized the cost just to get HD games in they were pissed. Well they just snuck it into the baseball package as well.

By buying the baseball package you will not get in any of there HD games. For an additional $40 you get the strike zone channel and the split screen channel and oh yea if you want to watch any of the games on the high def channel you MUST get this package. Small cost I know but after buying the baseball package you should be able to get HD games in without needing to buy anything else.

I could care less about any of these add on channels. Just give me my damn HD games in with the package I bought
