PyRo's Friday MLB Plays (17-15, +10.59)

Rolling along nicely in a groove now, winning with Reds TT over yesterday...Will add more plays throughout the day.

2* Boston Red Sox -117

Good spot for the BoSox who are getting the Yanks in a tough spot IMO. Yankees coming off an emotional walk off HR by A-Rod yesterday against the Tribe. Not to mention, they are coming off a series sweep of the Indians, and they now have to travel on the road and face their rival Red Sox. I am aware of Boston's come from behind victory yesterday though, which keeps this one smaller. Getting Schilling at a good price, and thats a rare occasion, and he should be up for this game. Schilling won 4 of the last five outings vs. New York, and he sports a solid ERA at home. He has pretty good success against these NY sluggers, especially A-Rod. Rodriguez only hits .167 vs. him. Im not a big Andy Pettite fan, although his numbers look solid this year, he faced a struggling Twins offense and a bad A's offense which he SHOULD have pitched solid. These Red Sox hitters hit him well, especially the big bats in Ortiz, Varitek, Ramirez etc. Another reason why keeping this a 2* is NY's success at Fenway, where they are 7-0 in the last 7 meetings in Boston.

1* Marlins/Nationals Under 4.5 1st 5 Innings +100

Nats have a pretty big scoreless streak in the first inning going for them, and that should happen in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. Olsen is pretty impressive and look for him to bounce back and throw strikes and let the D make some plays for him. Marlins offense struggling as of late also, and it wont get any easier with the loss of Miguel Cabrera. Under is 9-2 in Nats last 11 game 1's of series. Other trends point to FLA under as well. I'll take a shot at + money.

Damn I just seen this. Strong leans went 3-1 with Angels pending to be 4-1.

Too timid to expose too much of the BR is why I'm not playing these. Need to start playing them (talking to myself)
