Beckett, 3-0, 1.5 ERA, is limiting opponents to .159 batting average, has 18K in 18 innings. As good a start as you can ask.

Jeff Karstens is making his season debut after starting the season on the DL with elbow stiffness.

Regardless of talent, a pitcher with strong starting numbers is a better bet than a pitcher making his season debut off the DL.

The yankees had their best shot to get a win in the series last night with Pettitte. The bullpen let down, & i think the sun has set on the yankees winning a game in this series. The Sox have a clear edge in pitching now.

Key fact - Beckett has limited ARod to 1 for 9 in their matchups.

Taking Red Sox -156 for 2 units.

Good luck on your plays

Beckett was terrible against the Yanks last year, going 2-2, with a 9.45 ERA. The over looks nice again...
