Just seems like it is the same thing every year. Their starters are overrated and their middle relief is shit. Gonna be the same old story again this postseason, dont care if A Rod hits 120 HR's. Yanks will not win it all with the shit pitching.

They're missing 80% of their starting rotation. When all those guys comeback, starting w/ Wang on Wednesday, the bullpen will go back to normal and these guys will easily win the AL East w/ A-Rod hitting 60 HRs and winning the MVP.

I could see Wang, Pettite, Mussina, Clemens (they will make a run for him and imo get him), insert random 5th guy here by the end of the year. Health obviously plays a factor.

Those 4 could be as good as you get in baseball when healthy.

It's April.

exactly. Its April. Boston looked great to start last year and they withered at the end. Dice K really isn't all he is cracked up to be.

their bullpen sucks. They had to bring in Petite to pitch some tonight.

notice that with a depleted rotation the Yankees were only outscored 21-17 and that was going against the best Boston had to offer.

look at the run suport Dice received...Boston will have their stretch where they will struggle and then he will look horrible.

All I am saying is this kid is not proven, yet he the media outlets shove the idea that he is down our throats.

The Yankees are below .500 with A-Rod playing out of his mind-what happens when he cools off? Jeter's got 6 errors after only having 15 all last year, and their bullpen is getting WAAAAAY more use than any other is alll of baseball. Wang had one good year, is it set in stone that he'll repeat? Mussina has been overrated for a good while, and, oh, yes, the one constant they've had for a decade-Rivera-is 37, pissed because they wouldn't throw boatloads more money at him, and, not coincidentally, not looking too shiny right now. I strongly suspect that, instead of seeing them choke in the postseason for the 7th straight season, we'll see them not make it all this year.

1. Because the rest of the team never gets hot, right? Its only A-Rod that gets hot, right?

2. How is Moose overrated? Because he is consistent? or because he wins? or maybe, they go hand in hand.

You really are going to tell me that Rivera threw some of these games cause he didn't get enough money?

In plain English

You sir are an idiot
