(11-14)(-1.53 units) underdog bets
(1-3)(-2.00 units) runline bets
(0-8)(-8.00 units) parlays

(32-29)(+3.42 units) overall

Did not play any favorites yesterday, which has been my strong point this year and went with four dogs. I split my plays going 2-2, winning 0.27 units. Both of my losses could of easily been winners, losing two one run games. Oh well, a winning day is a winning day, I will take it.

Light schedule in the national league today, full schedule in the american league. Of course I am off work today and there are no day games. Here is Monday’s card.

White Sox -123 vs Kansas City………… For starters, it is the White Sox vs the Royals. Buehrle is coming of the no hitter, and he has pitcher well all year even though he only has one win. He was 3-0 with an era of 2.53 last year vs the royals and he is 15-6 career vs them. Royals suck, but they are not as bad at home as people think, so it won’t be easy. White Sox have a winning record on the road though so far this year. I just have to take Buehrle at this price vs this weak royal team.

Houston +107 vs Phillies…………I am a phillies fan. I have read much about how the phillies after Manuel’s talk with them are back. Lets not get too excited. They won two in a row. I do think they will turn it around because the just have way too much talent to keep losing. I think the problem today is they are facing a kid for Houston Chris Sampson (2-0, 1.20) that I never heard of who is apparently pitching great. The phillies are throwing Adam Eaton, who I don’t like at all. I think the should have been the one to go to the bullpen instead of Myers when John Lieber moved into the starting rotation. I hate betting against my phillies, but I have had very good luck knowing when to go against them and when to play them this year. Today is a go against.

Call me stupid, go ahead what are you waiting for? I am playing another parlay today. If I lose this parlay, I will gaurantee that you will not see another parlay from me the rest of this year in baseball. Promise.

Mets vs Colorado
Boston vs Toronto

Risking 1 to win 1.32 units. Two big favs, should be two winners.

Mets you know have a quality team. They are 7-2 on the road, but they are only 4-4 at home. I think they want to pick it up a notch at home. The rockies have always been known as a decent home team while playing poorly on the road. Big pitching advantage for the Mets as well. I really like John Maine, he has been great this year so far.

Boston playing their best ball of the seaon right now and must be on a high and playing with a ton of confidence after sweeping the Yankees last night. Toronto has been cold losing their last five and seven of ten. This looks like a mismatch to me.

Atlanta +126 vs Florida…………As long as they keep making the braves dogs, I will more than likely be on them. I am not afraid of Willis. People talking about he looks like his old self. I don’t think so. He is 3-1, but his era is over 5.00! He got shelled his last game and I think the braves get to him tonight as well. If I recall, he is either on or off when playing the braves. Willis beat the braves already this year, I don’t think he does it back to back this early in the season. Braves turn.

Good Luck Everybody!!

Like the Royals myself, but the way Buerhle has pitched in the past against KC has scared me off so far. On the Phils as well, but enjoyed the writeups. Good stuff.
