Actually, Foytack need not worry about surrendering his name in baseball's official history. He now has a roommate in infamy: New York Yankees rookie left-hander Chase Wright, whose back-to-back-to-back-to-back breakdown let the Boston Red Sox back into a game they eventually won 7-6 to sweep their division rivals in their first meeting this season.

***I actually just now realized that Chase Wright gave up the 4 hrs against the Red Sox.................my condolences if you had the Yanks.

This kid was a couple of years younger than me, and he played at a school (2A school) 10 miles from my city....

his school was small and his team was decent...he had been overrated for a while, but he got a shot pitching this year because of some injuries...
-lots of peeps didn't like him then, and more now I'm guessing.

Feel bad for the guy.

A little side note to the The Angel's Paul Foytack giving up 4 straight homers in the same inning. One of the guys who hit a homer off Foytack that inning was Cleveland Indian 1st baseman Tito Francona who is Red Sox managers Terry Francona's dad.
