For me it was 6th grade, we use to match nickels and if we were really brave quarters, spent many days without lunch because I lost my dollar...what a rush though, you could win 5-10 bucks before home room or it would be a long day without lunch money.

 it's all relative baby.

those bulldozer games tt the fair where i figured out how to beat them and push more quarters over the edge than I was putting in there. All about taking advantage of morons that would leave a well set up machine.

A weird card game called fan-tan with my grandparents. We played for pennies. I remember crying once after losing over one dollar in a single session. :lolBIG:

First big score I had was a future bet on the NJ Devils to win the Stanley Cup in the 1999-2000 season...

I did gamble once in 2nd grade, Jenny who sat across from me, told me to look under my desk she wanted to show me something...I go down look across and she showed me her goods...may have been the first one I ever saw.

Hop Scotch in the first grade. I was very tall for my age, giving me a huge edge against my best friend.

Always been pretty conservative with my money most of the time, so I rarely have gotton that rush.

I'd say my biggest rush was after I placed the biggest straight wager of my life on the Yankees last year in the playoffs against Kenny Rogers. That ridiculous lineup which had a combined over .300 lifetime average against him or something. I looked really hard at this game and had many reasons, it was a game I've probably felt the most comfortable ever placing a wager (and it lost, figures).

It was about 7.5k, and that rush quickly turned to beer after they got dominated.

Havn't really had that since.

Rogers was nuts that night..that had to suck watching him pumping his fist after every out too...he's always been sort of soft in big games but not that night, damn.

Oh, it was the most frustrating experiance ever. I don't think anybody could have predicted Kenny Rogers to be so brilliant (after that game, he continued it) but prior to that start he had been shit in these games. In fact, he had been average for most of a decade with a few bright spots.
