First I want to say for those who argue that baseball is not the hardest sport to play this list will more then likely back up that statement. At least two of the hardest things to do in sports are in the game of baseball.
Pick from the list or add your own.

1.) Throw a perfect game
2.) Hit .400 in a season
3.) Hit in as many game as Joe D did
3.) Beat Tiger when he is leading on Sunday
4.) Rush for 2000 yards in the NFL
5.) Run a marathon
6.) Hitting every fair way in 18 holes
7.) Riding the whole Tour De France
8.) The Giant Slolum in skiing

There are many more I know. If you can think of them let me know.

56 game streak would be most difficult, it has only happened once...and no one else has come that close to it ,within 85%

Probably score 100 points in a game.

I don't think anyone has been within 80% of that feat either, so maybe that is slightly tougher.

You know Wilt really only score 97 points though don't you? no vidoe or audio, Wilt was given 3 points for starting the 4th qtr.

You heard it here first. :WTF:

I'd have to go with the Tour de France. 3 weeks, maybe a day of rest, mountains, valleys, plains, with more than 2,000 miles covered total. I don't think you can beat that.

I'd say scoring 100 points in a game, because NO coach would allow it after a player hit 80-90. They simply wouldn't allow a player to continue to score, they'd make him pass.

Which makes what Kobe did against the Raptors last year all the more remarkable.

Even winning 30 again would be near impossible in this day and age...

34-35 starts is pushing it anymore.

Ron Guidry 27-3 1977
Bob Welch won like 27 I think

Not since McClain which was close to 40 years ago.

I remember back in the mid 70's Randy Jones for the Padres of all teams started the year like 18-1 or something crazy like that, he was well on pace for 30, I think he finished with like 23....he really fizzled out.

take off hit every fair way, I can do that...and running a marathon

things like defending a wide receiver in the NFL, returning a punt, etc are harder I would think

also the list is too vague, I could say the hardest thing to do in sports is (insert any ridiculous record here) aka hitting 73 HR in a season or rushing for 270 yards in a game or whatever it is

Winning isn't everything ... it's the ONLY THING !
