Please for the sake of goodness, save all the post of all the posters for the lifetime of this forum.

Not just the last 3 years.

History is a wonderful thing. Everyday many hundreds of threads go away to never never land, never getting the chance to be read again.

All the other forums save all threads for life.

There are many times I would love to go back and read what was talked about in the year 2000 but cant.

I know at has to do with bandwith and such. But every other forum seems to not have this issue.

What about people like me who have been keeping an accurate track of all bets every single year? Im sure people will want to look at what I have done at this forum 5 years ago.

We must keep the old threads alive.

If any of you out there agree with me, please post in this thread that you are for keeping all the old threads alive. Not just the last 3 years.

Come on vote!

Here is your chance.

I know I am not the only one that feels this way.

I don't know man, I posted alot of dumb stuff back when I first got here 4 or 5 years ago and thought I was the king of handicapping. Gonna have to pass on the vote on this one haha.

I've definitely wished this was the case many times, but figured there was a good enough reason why it only goes back so far.

The lost posts fo the early 2000's are just that lost and there is no way to retrieve them. The problem is one of memory on the servers, we have to sacrifice very old data in order to keep site navigation as quick as possible. The best way to find old posts is to use the advanced search function along with keywords and back date the search times.

Are you telling me I can find post older than 3 years old with the search function?

Even if thats the case, dont know why all the other forums seem to be able to save all the post from every poster, and not just the last 3 years.

With the right keyword you can. Just off the top of my head found this one almost four years old. It was a post with me kidding around with long time Rxer. Lander.

Sorry but no. I did not do that myself. During the last upgrade VBulletin added a field for head moderator. Rx. Tech Support entered wilheim into the field and the signature appeared.
