Baseball is doing fine, doesn't need to be "saved".

Arod will have a monster year, but he's not hitting 74.

According to you it may be fine... but to me and many other people Bonds having the ALL Time HR record is not fine. I have never disliked an athlete more than Bonds. I dont care that he has the 73 hr's in 1 season big deal we all know hes a cheat. But the all time hr record is such great history in the game of baseball and AROD will save this record by beating Bonds

I honestly wouldn't mind seeing AROD hit 74... At least someone who isn't PROVEN to be juiced up would hold the record (i know Bonds hasn't tested positive, but, I think all indicators ... trainers, testimony.. point to it) I mean, who the hell trubs flaxseed oil onto their bod anyway?

Steroids are overrated and have still yet to prove it helps you hit more homers. You guys act like he would have hit 20 if it werent for the steroids. I dont like the guy much either, but he is still one of the, if not the best player of all time.

Didn't realize you meant the all time record. I think he'll break that one barring injury no doubt. Nice to see you start name calling over nothing.

And yeah, no one realizes Bonds is about to break the record, it's not as if it's on espn 24/7.

Yeah well tell Hank Aaron & Roger Maris' family they are overated. I won't argue that Bonds is a great player but steroids are illegal for a reason.

you should be banned. Steroids turn deep fly balls into home runs and do not ever call bonds one of the greatest baseball players ever. that is a lie.

1. He is a cheat
2. Hes not very good defensively.
3. Hitting home runs is not the only thing that goes into how good a ball player is
