Not a great start. Astros screwed us real good. They had bases loaded, nobody out and they managed to score ZERO runs in that inning. The very next inning they have runners on 1st and 2nd w/ 1 down and Carlos Lee grounds into a DP. To think all we needed was 1 run to push and 2 to win. Damn you Houston!
The Rangers/Indians was a legit loss. Kameron Loe didn't showup today. Twins/Royals looking like an easy win. Angels are up 5-0 after ONE inning. But those of you who were on the Angels w/ me a few days ago know they are prone to giving up big leads, so I'm not celebrating yet.

Unless the Devil Rays score 8 or more runs w/ 7 outs left AND stop the Angels from scoring, we will be 2-2, -0.30 units on the day. I'm still kicking myself for not investing a meaningless HALF unit on the Natz today.
I can't believe how much respect Philip Hughes is getting. The Yankees are -170 and higher! He hasn't pitched an inning in the majors yet! I guess this line reflects the losing streak the Yanks are on and them being home rather than who's pitching for them. I'm considering dropping a half unit on the BJays just for the sake of it.

I pulled the trigger and put a unit on the Blue Birds... Jeter is out, and I read somewhere that this Hughes guy has only thrown an avg of 90 pitches in the minors. If Toronto can get into the Yankee bullpen they will have already ran g up Hughes for 4-5 runs.. plus whatever change the Yankee bullpen decides to cough up.

tough stuff last night - LAD had 3 -1 lead last I looked. the other got off to a 1st inning 3 Run - I figured that can't be good but lucky for us its base ball and there is over 100+ games left!
