Have some extra time tonight as the wife is at a meeting, so I thought I would go ahead and cap Friday’s games. I will update my record later on. Here is what I had on Thursday.

Washington +215 vs Phillies (already a winner)
Toronto +160 vs Yankees ( did not start yet)

Worst I can do is pick up 1.15 units and have the potential for a very good night if Toronto comes through.

Friday’s Games

Phillies -133 vs Florida………….No doubt that the phillies inspite of their loss on Thursday have turned things around a bit and are finally playing up to their potential. This is a big one. A chance to move into a tie for third with the Marlins. We got Freddie Garcia throwing for us. He was our big off season addition. He finally got his first win last time out and his velocity was back where it normally is. I think it is time that he starts to dominate the national league for a while. I really love the phillies at this price at home with Garcia on the hill.

Atlanta -110 vs Colorado……….I am going to have to continue to take these under-rated braves as long the the lines makers keep making them dogs or small favs. Rockies only 5-5 at home and are in last place. Atlanta continues to battle the mets for first in the nl east. Should be a high scoring game at Coors. The Jones boys for Atlanta should do some damage.

Toronto -125 vs Texas………..I think Toronto is a dark horse in their division and do not get much credit playing in the same division and the redsox and Yankees. Texas is doing their usual job of sucking on the road again this year. I just see a lot of value in the jays at home in this one and I am not going to pass it up.

White Sox -125 vs Angels………..Wow! Angels are 11-3 at home and 1-7 on the road. Did I read that right? I think I did. That alone makes this a play on the sox for me. Sox a very good team at home as welll, although they have not shown it yet this year as they are only 4-5 going into their Thursday night game with Detroit. Again, I see a ton of value with this small home favorite.

Seattle -125 vs Kansas City………….Anytime the line is this low, where Kansas City is the road team, I am all over the home team. I don’t even care who it is. Simply a play against the royals here. Don’t care who is pitching or anything. Odds in my favor in this one.

As you can see I have a great record playing favorites, but I have had a hard time finding plays the past fews days. I guess I made up for it tonight as I came up with five plays and they are all favs. Sometimes that is just where the chips fall. Five might be too many games to play in one night, but that is who I like and I am not going to change it just because they all happened to be favorites. I need at least a 3-2 night to make money and that is certainly possible. I think 4-1 has a shot, but I doubt I will get lucky enough to win them all. You do need luck when gambling as well, I don’t care what anybody says.

Good Luck Everybody!!
