Yanks:
Dice K is solid, but I'm not 100% sold on this phenomena yet. I still see some incosistency with this guy, inability to hit spots, and leave the ball up in the zone. Petite may only be getting older, but he is pitching great. I think you could fade him in his next few starts, but not tonight, not at home vs. a team he should have beat last time out. This series is based on motivation, and after blowing 3 leads, the Yanks should have it. Lots of controversy flying around the Boston clubhouse about the bloody sock, and maybe you will see the ESPN headline on Sportscenter speak about is this becoming a distraction after a brutal loss to the Yankees tonight.
Rangers:
I bet on Tejeda earlier this year at home, needless to say it didnt work out. But now I get the chance to back him on the road, where he is stellar, and pitches well in domes. Not much to say about Towers except that he is god awful in about every category. Jays return home now, struggling, against a scrappy Texas team who battles which is hungry and feels they should have took a few from Cleveland.
Giants:
I've missed the boat the last few days with this angle, but I like backing pitchers who are going for their 3rd straight win, as Zito is. Giants won 7 in a row too. Also a fade on the Dbacks as they needed to bring their A++ game last night against Chris Young and they battled. DBacks one of the worst in the league at hitting lefites, and they face a good one tonight at a solid price.
