What anh easy ass job though. I wonder how much he makes a year.

Think about it. throughout the year he could act like he is scouting players and then just work in the couple months leading up to the draft because it is widely known who the top prospects are. its no secret. Seriously, he's told me nothing I don't know already. One of the easiest most likely high paying jobs in history

nobody is expecting mel kiper to tell you anything you dont already know when it comes to the first 10-20 picks. the average fan certainly recognizes and knows something about the early 1st round picks.

the guy is very good at what he does in the middle rounds though. the guy makes his money when it comes to evaluating talent long after most turn their tvs off after their home team makes their 1st round pick. i like the fact that he is strong enough to stand by his evaluations even if the national media, and even some teams, hold a different opinion.

The thing is though middle rounds are completely open and debateable meaning a 6th round pick could go in the 4th round and nobody bats an eye at it.

But if a 2nd overall projection goes to 19th overall, everyone notices
