After losing McGahee I had question marks with their offense. However I think Lynch is going to be a stud in the NFL and Losman looked real good in the 2nd half of last season I think this is a team to watch out for in the next couple years

I agree. I think Lynch could be one of the best backs in the league eventually. All-Pro caliber.

lynch will be a solid pro, all-around back. just how good remains to be seen...I can see how some might view the Bills overreaching w/ their pick.

dont be fooled by Mr Losman >>>he is still a peice of crap. he played decently against some bad teams at the end of the season. He still cant read a defense to save his life......literally.

Good luck finding holes behind that offensive line.

Their offensive line will be much better next season, they got dockery and some other guy i dont remember his name. From the Raiders I believe. 2 solid starters for their O Line. Lynch is not only a running threat but he is great out of the backfield for screen passes and has great hands. Great pick by the Bills

Jake,
They spent a fortune on the o-line this offseason. They have a young, but solid line now. It should be much better than the last few seasons now.

5 Star,
I love the move to get Posluzny. I was hoping they'd trade down to get him before NE had a chance ... surprised he lasted to Rd 2 and Marv made a hell of move giving up a 2 and 3 to get this guy.

They could still use a CB, but don't have a pick until the 4th. Youbouty missed too much time to know if he's a capable starter. With 4 late picks left they might as well take the top talents at whatever position they're at.

I'll eat crow and say the Lynch move was excellent in hindsight. They had 3 big holes to fill (McGahee's, Clements and Fletchers). Marv did well getting (most likely) 2 starters of this caliber by sacrificing a #3.

Lynch didn't do shit in his games against USC, the only team in the Pac with a halfway decent defense.

Marshawn Lynch is an absolute monster to bring down. Saw every game being a Cal alum and one, two and three guys can't get him down. He runs with a wide foot style with cutting ability and speed. He is very difficult to even get a hand on and even then he powers forward. Never goes back. Depending on how good the offensive line is, Lynch could be exceptional for year's to come. Buffalo fans got a real gem here. He wasn't expected to go quite this high but that was a testament to what skill level he has IMHO and the scouts didn't miss it.

I wouldn't say the "scouts didn't miss it". Marv Levy has reached too high for players the last couple yrs. Lynch didn't do much against top opponents. Had Buffalo not taken him, he would've slid pretty far. How will he fare in the cold?

Whorman,
Most likely the Packers would have taken Lynch 16th overall. Good point about the cold.

Personally, I was hoping we'd take a flyer on Michael Bush. He was first round projected until the injury.

Actually Green Bay would have snagged him up for sure at pick 16. So you are definitely wrong there.... And people have claimed Marv for reaching like last year with Whitner at pick #8 I believe it was however he looked very good in the Bills secondary. So your wrong about that as well. The cold issue could be a concern but this is the nfl he will have to get used to it.

Lynch reminds me of McGahee actually.

Ya but a huge part of Lynch's game is he is great out of the backfield in the passing game which Mcgahee was terrible at. Lynch is a rb that can do it all, I think he will be rookie of the year
