chopper hit me with an e-mail for JaMarcus arrangements

PS, why the hell are the saints drafting any RBs in an already crowded backfield?

Dont worry about that till next week.

Im out of town right now.

Wait till I get home on friday.

The saints wanted a replacement for les stecker.

I would have prefered a corner or another linebacker, but the saints are huge believers in taking the best player regardless of position or need.

They thought he was the best player on the board, so they took him.

We are officially loaded at running back now.

I like Pittman, just dont see the need for him.

The Saints are so big into best player thinking that im told the Saints would have grabbed Brady Quinn if he would have fell down to us.

That would have really sucked in my mind.

Hey Box, BTW.

I really respect your SEC insights.

What do you think about Robert Mechem at the next level?

Thanks

I actually thought he was one of the sleepers of the draft.

He quietly put together one of the best receiving numbers in the country and it wasnt by accident. He did it vs. some of the best defenses that the country has to offer at the college level.

Big target, strong, runs routes well. I think he'll make a solid, reliable #2.

Wouldn't it be nice if the Braves would stop giving up runs in the 9th?
