Just unbelieveable. I'm shocked. I was just watching him pitch 24 hours ago.

RIP...

29 is far too young.

Seemed like a very good person. Very friendly towards the fans.

Not at all. He could have been distracted or mind or attention wandering for any number of reasons. Drunk might cause you to go too fast or swerve, but not necessarily not notice a stopped tow truck. Probably just not paying attention.

I can still remember that Monday morning after the Indians players tragedy down in Florida....Howard Stern comes on the air spoofing with a song he made up about 'Lake Nellie' to the tune of Gilligan's Island....I thought that was ridiculous and way out of bounds but he's Howard Stern ,what can you do...of course this was in like '92.

I'm a Tribe fan and was driving South down the 405 freeway here in Los Angeles (San Fernando Valley). When I heard the tragic news on the radio I pulled off the Burbank Avenue exit to stop for a few minutes. Was absolutely shocking.

I'm surprised this wasn't bigger news. I guess the Randy Moss trade to the Patriots was a lot more important to talk about.
