Need more info. But if taxes are deducted, they are usually at a 26% rate for Federal.

I would think it is his responsibility to do it later, as it's a non-US entity running the contest.

Allthough not gambling winnings it's contest winnings, even though hedgable at some point LOL.



I know it's a differant animal but:
Poker winnings and Jackpots here get paid in full, and the player is on the hook for it later.

Winner is Canadian so he claims no taxes have to be filed for winnings in Canada
