You have been called out across the street for stiffing Cascade 6 figures. Whats the deal?

The main guy from Cascade asked me to post the following on his behalf.

"I have spoken with both ______ and _______on many occasions by phone and email. I have made them aware of the fact that two prominent posters each owes Cascade sizable 6 figure amounts of coin.

First off, PokerKing has not paid Cascade a mid 6 figure amount and ClipJoint also owes us a significant 6 figure settlement.

I would welcome any 3rd party to disburse $ owed to them by Cascade due to the delinquency and lack of efforts made by PokerKing and ClipJoint.

Cascade owes out far less money than these two "STIFFS" owe us and we are still doing our very best to pay everyone in spite of these two guys not being honorable.

I can't stress enough that we understand that PokerKing and ClipJoint stiffing Cascade has nothing to do with the fact that we still acknowledge owing out money. I just wanted everyone to gain a better understanding as to how we ended up here."

Thanks,

Cascade Boss

If it's true, Cascade is going the wrong way with this by making an announcement in a posting forum. What are they going to do next? Post their real names and addresses?

Completely agree. TERRIBLE business move by Cascade.

How can you let a credit balance get that high?
:WTF:

Not only that, what idiot over there wrote this letter...

Doing their best???? Sounds like they don't have any backing whatsoever.

A very shady situation indeed. How did this arise? One of the two complained about the company or did Cascade just want to make this public?

Terrible move by the book on this issue, the mistakes made are too numerous to mention and i'll wait for both sides to be told before i make any judgement on a player. To even think of allowing someone to get this far behind a number is insane imo, to publish what is unsubstaniated as fact is even crazier!!!!

Do books that offer that kind of credit to a player have collectors that use threats in order to collect debts?

None of my business but most likely the Cascade debts in both cases involve sheets not individual play by a single player. Say you have 25 players on a sheet, it don't take a lot for that sheet to go red for 300k if several players have real bad weeks. Clip Joint has not posted in over a week and Pokerking has not posted in several months, his case is fairly well known amoung many in the industry. I tried to put him in touch with Lenny but he would not make the call.

Personally I very much hope Clip Joint can get his situation straightened out. I have not heard his side of the story regarding Cascade yet.

I do know that Lenny from Cascade enjoys a very excellent reputation all over the industry.

WHO ON EARTH would front Clip Joint that much wood!!!

The most that I have ever had credit with an online book was $6000. And I never owed a book for longer than 1 or 2 weeks at a time. I cant imagine $100,000 or more.

Damn, having spoke with Clip on the phone a while back, came away feeling he was a very good guy. I hope this is just a misunderstanding.

You guys are like a lynch mob on unfounded acquisitions. I know Lenny is honor some, but still, why not find out the whole story before killing Clip.

I'll admit to having a few drinks tonight but am I reading this right, Posters are disappointed because Clip has knocked a book for 6 figures. If so we should be making him a God on here. Great play Clip if I'm reading it right. You Yanks need to get some cop on.

Everyone needs to put the words allegedly in their vocabulary until the facts are on the table.

Look at Cascade first of all, issuing this on a public forum and including the names - talk about desperation and excuses.
