But he did it with some scat and really really really modernized the song... He beat boxed in the song... Idk it was just sick... I almost feel like it was better then the original but I don't like Bon Jovi that much so my opinion is slanted.

I think it is a taste in music. The younger crowd will love that... IDK the older crowd might be split down the middle. The problem with doing something like that is that people that love Bon Jovi may think he ruined the song and hate it for that reason...

But fuck it that was a bad ass performance IMO

I can see why people don't like it though... Very very different... But if that was on the radio I would listen and outside of daugherty I don't think I have ever said that about an American Idol contestant.
