Every post I read about someones job or someones life they all discuss how they make six figures at their job. This must be the wealthiest forum on the net...

How many do you actually think make six figures?

What percent?

I personally have no clue... Just found it interesting.

i do not make 6 figures but i make a very good living working on the oil rigs. let me tell you something. you know you earned your money after 2 weeks on that motherfucker. i dont worry about how people make money on this forum. how much money one makes here for a living doesnt influence my respect.

Making 6 figs in software consulting/contracting is pretty easy depending on where u live...

Get a MS in CS and work as a independent contractor...

I mean starting salary is around 50k with BS in CS straight out of college in DC. It's not that hard to get there... 100k a year is not what it used to be...

Household income is six-figures but I personally make $85K, still living paycheck-to-paycheck in SoCal. As mentioned above, it's really not that much money anymore.
