Whats up with this? The Cubs are winning and the game has been suspended until tomorrow. Will they fix this?

that is horse shit, with the new rules they should grade it as no action. I know they won't, but that is weak.

i had the bucs and i was stunned to see it had won..i gave the cubs the win

i'm sure it sounds biased, but i can understand it...the cubs did have an extra 3 outs to take the lead while the pirates didn't have that chance

b/c there is no guarantee it won't be game 3 of a 3 game series that never gets finished, or gets finished in 2 months.

Because we honestly don't know when the game will actually be restarted... let's say the weather sucks tomorrow (May 2nd) then the game is rescheduled for July or whatever.

Now what? Keep the bet as pending all those months? Some would say yes... (and they use the example about Futures wagers that may last for years). I just can understand why a book feels "the wager was based on TONIGHT only".

A few years ago, there was no such thing as a suspended game due to rain. Darkness, yes. Rain, no. It was either a rainout if it didn't go 5, or it was a final, if after 5. This game would have been final, if Pittsburgh would have retained the lead, or if they had finished batting in the bottom half.

they changed the rule this year, so it is picking up where it left off whenever they pick it up. last year this game would have been a 5-2 win for Pitts I believe.

John, no, all totals and run lines are no action, Pitts wins ML and Cubs lose ML.

ML bets on Pittsburgh at Matchbook were graded winners.

If You`re Playing @ BetJ

just read their "MLB rules" it`s very clear. There is no "carryover", the gm reverts to the last full inning score for wagering purposes, i.e. Pitt 5. Cubs 2. For MLB record purposes it will be continued today. Game OVER as far as betting. End of story.
