I am officially in a slump after yesterday's card. Part of it is the way I am playing the games. Gotta get back to my bread and butter. I'm usually very selective, but I have gotten away from that lately, because all of my leans were hitting, so I started playing a few of those. But now I gotta get back to what I do best, and play high percentage plays. Good luck.

Back to high percentage plays, starting with Seattle. Besides being a tough home team, Seattle is red hot lately. They have won 6 of 7, and they are a team with a killer instinct right now, and playing a wounded duck White Sox team, playing off fumes from their World Series title 2 years ago.
Miguel Batista is the old veteran that can get the young pups out, and the Sox have started calling up some young Triple A boys to replace the big bat in Jim Thome and reliable steady bat of Scott Podsednik. Those two losses hurt, not only because they are two good bats, but they are two good lefthanded bats that would have fit in nice vs. the right handed Batista. After two straight road starts, look for Batista to find some consistency this season as he has his feet wet in the American League and now comes home to pitch after winning his last outing.
With the White Sox struggling without their firepower, they turn to 22-year old rookie John Denks, who is still winless in his young MLB career, to beat a red hot Mariners team at their house, with the high chance that he will have limited run support from this wounded lineup. Denks has been tough on lefthanded hitters, but the Mariners only have 2 - and he has been getting crushed by right handed hitting. The Mariners should continue that as they are a top10 team in baseball at home, and top 10 vs. lefties.
