I have been a long time Brewers fan, and let me tell you, they are for real. I hate seeing John Kruck on Baseball tonight and picking the PIRATES to lead the division after May? Are you kidding me? The Pirates play at Milwaukee later this week. This will be a huge series, and I am going to the game on Sunday afternoon.
I know the Brewers have had a great start, and typically falter down the stretch, but I don't see that happening this year. Yes this is baseball, and yes all teams will go through tough stretches. But in a very wide open Central Division, I think the Brewers will win it.
Their pitching has improved. Young players getting to play and showing their potential. Sheets, Suppan, and Capuano are a great trio. Add Vargas and Bush and you have a solid rotation.
Veterans like Jenkins, Mench, Graffanino, Estrada and Counsell are good for the younger players like Fielder, Hart, Hall, and Weeks.
They will go through a tough stretch, but the talent is there. The bullpen is underrated especially with Turnbow and Cordero.
I believe they are yet to lose after leading after seven innings. It makes me mad to see people doubting the team, especially John Kruck and saying the Pirates. I know it was a reach, but that will not happen. Maybe I am jsut so excited to see my favorite team playing so well. Good luck aeveryone and Go Brew Crew!!!!

Been saying it for 3 months. Wallet full from their stellar play. Deep bench, pitching, and a loose clubhouse.

Injuries or how they rebound after a few losses are my only concern.
I have had season tickets for 12 years and the buzz in the stadium is unreal. Ticket sales are up 20%.

They look like the real deal, it's just hard for me to believe the Cards won't turn it around eventually.

From what I am used to with this team I hope it continues. Just know the lines are going to get worse. Hope people take a hard look at this team and win some cash.

I agree w/ everything you said, and just plunked 3-1/3 units at 33-1 on Milwaukee to win the WS!:toast:
