I have bought some nice tickets before at the Thomas and Mack right before the start of the fight (Jones-Ruiz and Manny Pac-Morales) for pennies on the dollar ....when scalpers are dumping tickets........will they be inside the MGM or outside for this one ? I know this fight is one of the biggest in 5-10 years ....but surely they will have to unload some tickets right before the fight. :think2:
If it's anything like the DLH-Hopkins bout (also at MGM), the scalpers will be teaming the restaurant area near the Grand Garden Arena. They will also be in the large standing area outside the entrance to the lines for metal detection, etc. But the strip of the good restaurants was packed.
For the record, there wasn't much in the way of discount on that night. Vegas loves Oscar. Wish I had known of a discount for Morales-Pacquiao. I was only a couple of rows off of the floor, so I was thrilled to be there.
