as a big time horse follower for this kentucky derby I absolutly love #16 Circular Quay. He was clearly going to be one of the favorites off his 2 yr old campaign, I remember seeing him at Saratoga last year absolutly come from nowhere and upset Scat Daddy when he was the big deal on campus, he has gone on to do even better, coulda won the breeders cup race that street sense won had he saved all the ground instead of going about 10 wide throughout the entire race. Pletcher sends out 5 starters in this race and if you dont know Johnny Velazquez is his go-to-guy giving him top priority for any race and he chose this horse over all of the other 4 including Scat Daddy who he rode that day Circular Quay beat him and Any Given Saturday his usual assignment. This horse was ridden most by Garrett Gomez, one of the top jockeys in the country and the assignment went to johnny V. Hall of fame jock gary stevens even mentioned once earlier in the year that he would come out of retirement to ride this horse. I dont know how many of you even care about this race but just food for thought Im rolling with this horse at 8-1 or higher hopefully
