4-2, +5.20

Technically swept the card yesterday as I went 4-2, +5.20, with the only losses being 1* -1.5 plays that were add ons to my ML sides. If that makes any sense. Hopefully that puts me back on track. On to today...

1* Angels/Royals under 8 EVEN

Young Weaver is better than old Weaver. That's all you need to know. He's regaining his form, he has pitched well vs. KC, and you don't have to be an all-star anyway to pitch well vs. KC, they are struggling mightility on offense right now. Their 3 runs to win the game came on a 3run 8th inning homerun. This team is simply not scoring right because of lack of production from two young guys that they thought would be big time RBI guys, Ryan Shealy and Alex Gordon. Meanwhile, KC has been getting one quality start after another from Gil Meche. And he'll have a favorable opportunity to do that again today at home vs. the Angels, who have struggled on the road this season.

FWIW, under 8.5, -104 is available on Matchbook. Have seen a few people on this play and may have to tag along even though I generally stay away from totals in baseball. BOL.

1* San Fran Giants -136

Cain vs. Eaton in SF. Nuff said. Gordon is on the DL for Philly, Howard is still slumping, Cain is on fire, Bonds is on fire. Don't overanalyze this one. Big juice. Small play.

3* Houston Astros -129
1* Houston Astros -1.5 +160

Battle between two left-handers trying to get their first wins. IMO, Wandy Rodriguez is the better pitcher than Eric Milton, coupled with limited juice, homefield advantage, and the Astros bullpen, and it's easy to see why I like Houston tonight.
Wandy-Rod has been a tough luck loser in a couple games so far this season, last game was another one in which he went 7 innings and gave up 5 hits. Watching him pitch at home, he portrays a lot more confidence on the mound, takes his time, and controls the pace and flow. He doesn't get caught up in emotions and he can be very tough at home. I think he will be tonight, considering the key RBI guys for the Reds are all left-handed hitters, and Wandy is sick on lefty hitters.
Eric Milton has now lost 6 straight starts going back to last year, and has been even worse on the road if that is possible. He has had a tendency to start slow, and give up runs in the first inning, and if he falls behind tonight, Houston has a good bullpen to hold them down. With Houston getting the win last night and Carlos Lee finding his stroke, Houston looks like a high percentage play for tonight.

That's all for tonight. Good luck.

haha nothing happened to him...he left the site after that whole debacle regarding him stiffing a guy $200.

i just refer to it as gyno suicide watch alert because there have been plenty of times during his posting career (outside of NBA forum where he's done great, maybe NFL/NCAA too I forget) where he said stuff like "if this loses i'll quit betting and find a real job" or "this is the end for me, here's my 5 unit fade even though i'm a 1-2 uint bettor" shit like that.
so i coined it gyno suicide watch alert cause he always seemed like he was on the brink...
i like him well enough don't get me wrong. just think the term is funny is all.

Better than gyno scam alert......hmmm, maybe not. I dont know. I dont want to get involved. So, I'm not gonna call him a scam artist. Or did I just......I've said enough already.

I did not know about any debacle involving $200 owed to anyone... but yeah I feel ya on the "if this loses... " posts. The one post in particular that I remember involved the Oregon Ducks (coll football) last year, which I trailed him on.... lol yeah , but as my girlfriend just reminded me, there's no larger buildup than that before the LSU title game.. holy shit he had something like 40 or 50 teasers and parlays on that. hahaha

I just thought maybe he finally had a meltdown and I wasn't around to notice.. SUPER glad to hear that he DIDNT actually :nohead: himself... hahaha but ok, I la-la love the giants myself for 2units tonight..

gl to all
