With the offshore meltdown lately, no Youbet for the Derby, and the limited payouts of some books; what book are you using tomorrow?

I'm using BetJamaica. I don't play exotics and on win/place/show they are paying full track odds. 3% rebate on wagers also.

BetJam only pays out 600-1 for exotics. Maybe They'll change it tomorrow.

After how WSEX took care of that guy by paying him full track odds after he one his bet when they didn't have to, how could anyone play anywhere else.

Oh, I'm playing at Bodog because that's where my money is right now. I swear if there was still NETeller, I'd transfer money over there just for the day to play the Derby.

Yeah, but WSEX still has the payout cap. They made an exception because Chuck Luck acted like he was 11 years old and went nuts slandering them.

Back to the subject at hand though, it does suck that pinny is gone and it looks like BJ is capping their payouts at 300-1 for exactas and 600-1 for tris and supers. Sucks.

I called bodog and they said max payout of 50,000 per race, but the guy didn't really sound confident answering my questions. Who the hell knows.

I'm going to OTB.

 OTB with the surcharge....no thanks.

Betjamaica has a 300-1 cap on exactas which isn`t horrible.
i don`t plan on any of my exactas paying $600(for$2)

I don`t play triples in a race like this, but if I did i would make
sure of the cap.GL guys.......

GL Brock, but hope you don't have too big of a longshot or exotic in mind as this is the Greek's Horse Racing cap:

Track Odds will be paid on winning horses up to a maximum of:
  • Straight wagers: Win 20-1, Place 8-1, Show 4-1
  • Exotics: Exactas, Daily Double, Trifectas, etc. 100-1

I just can't see a book like the Greek haven't such bullshit caps on a triple crown race where they should be getting tons of action. Very weak and I am big fan of The Greek.

Is this for real??? This has got to be one of the all-time cheesiest moves from a major sportsbook. I thought tracks only paid out about 85% of the handle in the first place, yet looks as they are trying to cut into that even more. Perhaps these are just daily rules and don't apply to the Derby? Can you imagine hitting a 50-1 longshot and then find out you are only getting 20-1?

I knew that couldn't be right. From the Greek:

Full Track Odds on the Kentucky Derby!
Saturday May 05 - Churchhill Downs - Race 10
Find wagers under our horse category.

Much better.

Good move by the Greek. I still don't see that on their site though when looking at their Home Page and their Horse Guide.

I just bit the bullet and placed my bets at Los Alamitos. This year it just seemed like too much of a hassle to fax, call, open accounts, check payout limits etc.

Playing mine at CRIS. They cap it at 100,00. If I hit the cap, believe me, I won't bitch.

Bodog has some interesting props, but limits are $100.

I'm down to 2 books till football. BoDog is ok for horses, tho not a super user-friendly screen. And I wouldn't bet anything near a C note on a junky race like today's Derby
