Gotta love Willis here at this price. There arent many other pitchers in baseball that get the kind of run support that Willis gets, partially because he himself is a good hitter. Whenever he plays, the Marlins bat 9 hiters vs. 8 hitters, and have a great pitcher on the mound. At home, Willis is even better, while Maddux has historically struggled away from home.
Off a relatively easier series at home vs. Washington, San Diego has won 2 straight but it could be deceiving. They will face the top offense in baseball, off winning a series at NY. San Diego's first game after traveling cross country, give me Willis vs. an old Greg Maddux that is facing a lineup that bats over .300 against him lifetime.
