cleveland's last two streaks were 6 and currently at 4, with one loss between. if you chased either of those half way through you would make more betting with than against.

Funny you should mention that.... I actually bet against Cleveland the one game that they lost. I just have an uncanny ability to know when to fade a hot team.

It's called an anomaly. Notice it hasn't happened again in almost 20 years. Unless it happens every year you'll end up making little or no money betting streaks, and even lose money depending on what you consider a "streak".
