How to Thread a Needle
Threading a sewing needle can be an exasperating task. Here are a few suggestions to make the job easier.

You will need sharp scissors, a sewing needle and thread.
Cut the end of the thread at a 45 degree angle.
Hold up the needle so the eye of the needle is open toward you.
Slip the thread into the needle.
Knot one end of the thread, leaving one end loose to sew with one thread or knot them together to sew with two threads.
Use one strand of thread for places that you do not want the stitching to show (hems) and use two strands for extra strength (buttons).
Straighten the threads and begin sewing.
Pull the thread after each stitch to prevent the thread knots.
Tips:
If you are unable to see the eye of the needle, place a contrasting color behind the needle.
Coating the thread with bees wax will strengthen and stiffen the thread.
Use the proper needle for the project.
