Too much money involved.

Boxing needs a rematch for even more money.

Oscar chose the judges, ring size.

Oscar will win in a controversial decision, setting the stage for a rematch.

Take the Golden Boy.

Take the Golden Boy in the rematch.

Can't you see the stage that has been set?
I overlooked it by predicting La Hoya winning the first fight.

I thought La Hoya would win the first fight and then pass the torch in the rematch.

NO No no, Vegas has once again outsmarted us again. La Hoya clearly looked liked the old tired one and Mayweather surley looked without a doubt the younger and quicker one being Clearly the more effective one.

La Hoya is on his way out.

Did you see the play acting that went on after the fight????

Come on, please don't tell me you that dumb.

Mayweather father said La Hoya won.
That one judge had La Hoya winning by a bunch.
Mayweather won by a SPLIT decision (when he won by a unamious decision)
The announcers already selling "Rematch" after the fight.

Don't you see what's going on here? Tooooooooo muuuuch $$$$$$$$$$$ involved here.

America loves a story and a STORY they shall have. BOXING neeeeeds this in a big way and they neeed a big story to revive the sport in a big way.

This is how I overlooked it. I thought that La Hoya would win in a controversial decision tonight and then have a rematch where he would pass on the torch to Mayweather in the Rematch and retire for good. La Hoya is a business man now than he is a fighter. I overlooked his abilitity to sell a rematch. And he done it well.

You know and I know Mayweather won Unamiously. Do you really really believe that one judge scored La Hoya 116 and Mayweather 112????? to set up the split decision??

Ok, enuf talk and down to brass tax. La Hoya has a Legacy to protect and a Legacy to go down to be proud of. The comback kid will win the rematch and retire for good. La Hoya is ready for retirement and will finish on TOP.

I thought it would be the other way around. La Hoya wins tonight and passes the torch in the rematch. No No No No........it's the other way around. La Hoya loses the first fight and goes out on TOP in the second fight.

Its La Hoya's business venture to have a LEGACY. This man has ALOT of money invested in his boxing venture and everyone loves and underdog to come out on top.

La Hoya will be selling underdongs (yes i ment to spell it incorrectly) in his boxing venture business.

Don't you all see the stage being set????????????

Come on?!!! Do you really believe La Hoya gave it his all to Mayweather tonight?????

Think about certain things that happened. Mayweather's father said that La Hoya won in the points ( he knew his son kicked La Hoya's ass and is just trying to sell the "rematch" so it will be more money for his son)

Mayweather is just as disinterested in boxing as La Hoya at this point. They both know it's a business. This fight guarenteed La Hoya $25 Million and Mayweather $10 million.

Don't be conned into believing that Mayweather is just a stupid man. He's not. He knew just how to sell this. After the fight he told the interviewer that this was his last fight. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh righhhhhhhht!!!! This jerk off is selling the "REMATCH".

MARK MY WORDS. MAYWEATHER WANTS AN EXIT OUT OF BOXING JUST AS LA HOYA DOES. ONLY THE SECOND TIME AROUND THEY BOTH WILL BE GETTING ALOT MORE MONEY TO RETIRE ON BUT LA HOYA HAS AN ESTABLISHED BUSINESS IN BOXING THAN MAYWEATHER DOES.

FOLLOW THE MONEY PEOPLE.

MARK MY FUCKING WORDS...........FOLLOW THE FUCKING MONEY.

LA HOYA WILL WIN THE 'REMATCH'

lol I think you are delusional. Obviously money plays a role in this but for you to pretend that Oscar didnt try and win this fight you are crazy. They could have a rematch either way it went and still get that $$$

Mayweather beat him fair and square and will likely do it again if they fight, this isnt (quite) the WWF.
