So at first it just seemed like the government wanted to show its morality and act like they were doing something useful by banning gambling. But now, they are getting into disputes with the WTO and seemingly putting a decent amount of effort of backing up this legislation. Why?
There has to be a ton of lobbying from the big casinos or something going on here. How can the US not regulate and turn down that huge revenue stream? There has to be a real underlying reason or some plan for the future that the government is holding out for...not just the morality reason.
