Hall of Fame voters will be breaking precedent if he doesn't get in. Everyone with 3000 hits who has been eligible (Rose not eligible....Palmeiro?????) has been elected.
His numbers are very, very comparable to Joe Morgans' and they're better than Ryne Sandbergs'. The HOF is largely based on personal statistics and if that's the case, he should be in.
