I faded him, got Hamels 3x at -1.20
He did look good fanning Howard, but yeah, in the majors if you hang an 0-2 curveball over the heart of the plate, well, big league hitters know what to do with that.

Big time rookie mistake, and I suspect he'll make a few more mistakes this game, but knowthis well, the kid will be a stud in months to come.

I wouldn't say that. To be honest, except for the height of the leg kick, his stuff reminds me of Dwight Gooden. Electric fastball and nasty 12-6 curveball.

well...what I meant by not impressive was with all the hype from this forum...i expected better from him...like getting out of inning without any run(not that I care since I have phillie)... and also he threw 27 pitches in 1st inning....

There really was only hype from one person. It seemed like a lot more. I'll give you that.

he looked great in the 2nd innning....but wow... given up 2 HRs in 3 innings... and his ERA was 0.2 something....but already given up 4 runs

Wow, did Howard smoke that one, like I said before I suspect Timmy will make a few more mistakes (like Victorino) this game, but like I also said, know this well, the kid is going to be a bona fide stud.

p.s. I think Howards ball is orbiting Neptune right now.
