would treat his next start about the same way that a person should be very careful betting against the Yankees Phil Hughes who pitched a gem his second game. Both of these pitchers are Phenoms and barring injury will be Major league stars

You can't say fade or bet 5 days before a game.
You need to know who the other starter is and all sorts of other conditions.
You know better than to ask this question Crunch.

The Phils can hit and I'm sure he was nervous. He left a hanger to Howard which he raked about 500 feet. When they're on, the Phils have one of the best lineups around.

Ala Phil Hughes, I expect Lincecum to come back strong in his 2nd outing, hopefully he can leave the game healthy. Even tho his next start is at Coors, I like his chances at humidor park.

Fade until her learns how to pitch, has a fast ball, thats it!

MLB hitters will destroy him till he learns a 2nd pitch

He is a "Rookie Hall-of-Famer"...

I thought he might be nervous making his debut in primetime...

Matchups will be the key.

So was Jhonny Peralta, how's that working out.
(p.s. I never bought into the peralta hype either)

Exactly...

But you know the price will be a value...because this kid is gonna be a "two-dollar" favorite...so everyone should ride him...

Lincecum goes Friday in Colorado against Josh Fogg. Balls will be flying out in Colorado also. Looks like a few more home runs will be given up by him.

The Future has a wide arsenal of pitches that include two fastballs (a two-seamer and a four-seamer that generally settle in at 92-94, but he hit as high as 97 on Saturday and has been previously clocked at 101), 3 different curveballs (including the classic 12-to-6 and another that actually breaks twice), a slider (82-84 mostly but up to 86), a changeup (breaks down and in to right handers), as well as both a split finger and a knuckler that the Giants have yet to let him throw.

You forgot Lincecum's awesome gyroball didn't you?

Lincecum has a great fast ball and curve ball. Besides a couple of changeups that missed, that's all he threw yesterday. The other pitches aren't major league quality, and you probably won't see those until he undergoes an arm surgery or two.
