games finally went right and only gave one play, lets start with the early game today.

1. Cleveland -131

Fauston Carmona is being called back up by the indians, really shouldnt have been sent down to begin with, this kid has nasty hard stuff. His record stands at 2-1 with a 3.7 ERA which is inflated from some early poor starts but he has already shutdown baltimore once this season going 8.3 innings giving up 6 hits and only 1 ER. Honestly I have no respect for Trachsel when it comes to betting on him at 1-3 with a 4+ ERA he is the type to always play against. The tribe is absolutly sick vs righties this season going 15-4 and trachsel is a below average righty. They are 14-6 as a fav this season while the O's are 6-15 as a dog, they just dont get up to play when they are predicted to lose. I do respect the Balt pen, one of the best in the game right now but I just dont think Trachsel can get the ball to them ahead in this game. While the tribe is 11-3 over their last 14 the O's are 3-10. Early play on the indians.

2. Atlanta -118

I specifically remember these braves going to SD last yr a ballpark where you just dont score runs and they absolutly beat up on this chris young kid. He hasnt gone deeper than 3 innings in either of his last two start vs the bravos in his last he gave up 7 runs on 7 hits, while James one appearance vs SD wasnt a good one he is a different pitcher this year. Atlanta is 14-5 as a favorite and have dominated righties this year. While atlanta scores 5 runs a game SD generally struggles to score, advantage braves. The braves are 5-1 SU over the last six vs SD. I just cant get that particular game out of my head from last year where they absolutly demolished him anything close to that and they emerge victorious tonight. Seems like an incredible line on a hot team at home.

3. NYY/SEA OVER 11 -105

I know absolutly nothing about matt desalvo and still like this play. The yanks are the highest scoring team in the league and are starting to get hot again scoring 11, 8 and 5 runs in this series, while Seattle has been sluggish the last 2 days the yanks are playing their 6th game in 5 days, the Ms play at least 6 days in a row and of the two teams they have only gotten 2 quality starts of at least 7 innings meaning lots of bullpen action, got to think that comes to roost tonight with a hot offense and a rook on the other end. While the past leans towards the under It seems more likely to have that 15-11 game tonight then a low scoring affair.

4. NYM/SF OVER 9

I know that on any given day Perez and Zito could just shutdown the opponent but that wont happen in this game. Both teams play there best ball offensively vs lefties and the Mets prefer to play on the road scoring an impressive 6 runs per game on the road, while SF puts up 4.5 runs at home. When I think of Oliver Perez i think a guy that can K you or walk the world, and SF has some patient hitters that wont stike out all day so Ill look for Oliver to struggle like he has in the past, over 23 innings and 5 starts he has never gotten through more than 5 innings and has given up 20ER and walked 21 men, nearly one walk and a run per inning. Now Zito has not faced the mets but the mets have to be stinging that he didnt come to them as a free agent the hype in NY was that he would be the next Met Ace. The mets lineup may make him pay for that tonight as they rock lefties and score a ton on the road. Bonds had a night off so look for him to be sharp tonight, play the over.
