New Baseball Bettor (?)

I am new to the baseball arenna, and I am needing some basic advice. I am a huge baseball fan and watch tons of games.

I want to start getting some baseball action,

so my questions are:

1) what are the top few books for baseball

2) any newbie advice with regards to baseball betting

3) what is the current outlook with the legislation (I have been out of it since football season)

1) Don't know the top books, sorry. I use bodog and it works for me.

2) Never take anything worse than -110! Baseball's the only sport where the odds on your side. That's why baseball's the most profitable sport to bet on IF -- and only IF -- you know what you're doing. Believe me, I'm up about 34 Uints since August 19, 2006. If you like a favorite, bet the run line. I can't stress that enough. Remember, even if you go 1-1 betting positive juice, you'll come out a winner. In the NFL and NBA, you need to hit about 52.5% to break even. In baseball, if you bet +juice, it's about 44% to break even. Now imagine if you hit 50%...

3) Same as before. Legal to bet, illegal to book. Thus, if you use a sportsbook located outside the U.S., you're fine.
