Cleveland pitcher Cliff Lee is coming off a pulled abdominal muscle and is making his second start of the season. His first he gave up 5 runs in six innings. Santana has been very good at home. 6-0 in his last 8 home outings and has a 1.93 era at home this year. I look for Vlad to have a huge game as he is hitting .412 vs Lee lifetime.

In San Fran again I am looking for the superstar to make the difference. Just not sure which superstar. I look for Cain to rebound after a poor outing against Philly. Nobody on the Mets team has more than 10 at bats vs him, a big advantage for Cain. Bonds has had pretty good success against Glavine hitting over .320 against him lifetime.

Just a few thoughts on these games.

I've been looking at the Angels all night, and definitely like the play, just waiting to see how some of my earlier games go before I put a bunch at risk and see what kind of night it looks like for me.

Long story short....I like it...good luck

I thought about waiting on this one too but think the price will get higher. Its already -117 at matchbook and I think it could get to -125 before game time. I feel it should be around -140 but what do I know.

Good luck with your plays.

cakeoff, lets not hijack TN's thread.

I'm just a big believer that when it's not your night, it's not your night. I have 8 or 9 units at risk already in baseball today, and I don't like having double digit units at risk in an everyday sport like baseball. If my night starts off right, and some of my games look like they will cash, I will add this one later if the line is still reasonable. Just a personal thing.

Plenty of goodreasons to like the Angels. Santana 15-5 last 20 at home and 8 straight wins at home being the most obvious. San Francisco----might be a lot harder to justify

I agree with you Box. Alot of people say if it is a 2 unit play it should always be a 2 unit play or whatever. I will adjust my units with my streaks. If I am cold I will back off a bit. When I am on a run I will press a bit. A solid 2 unit play will become a 3 unit play and so on. A wise gambler once told me ...." To many people eat like a bird and shit like an elephant". They press when they are losing and are happy with winning and dont want to give it back. I feel the opposite.

No need to take the day off tomorrow if you like something TN....tough way to start the week, but I am sure you will bounce back strong.

Not going to take it off. I am going to limit the number of plays and units till we get going again.

Already working on tomorrow, may have a post tonight.
