Bonds is a joke.
In 10 years from now there will have been at least 6 guys that will have hit at least 700 home runs. After that Bonds will be just 1 of 6 with 700 home runs or more and he won't be considered better than anyone of them.
Then you will look at Willie Mays and Hank Aaron and Ted Williams and Mickey Mantle and Roberto Clemete and then Barry Bonds won't be considered better than anyone of them.
When it's all said and done 15 years from now Barry Bonds won't be considered even 1 of the top 20 players of all time and he shouldn't be. He sucks in the field and never could throw anyone out at home.
People who don't add what a player does in the field are more likely to say Barry Bonds is one of the greatest players of all time.
People who know how valuable defense is rank Barry Bonds alot lower and they should.
Barry is only barrowing the record.
