Record: 85-96
Profit: -11.39

Predicted Lines:

LAD Pk, U8.5 -120
Cincy -160, 9.5 Pk
Yankees -380, 9 Pk
Atlanta -265, 9.5 Pk

Bets:

Florida Marlins +107
Marlins/Dodgers Under 8.5 +100

Pitchers: Mitre/Lowe

I like Mitre's chances here since the Dodgers are doing alot of their damage against lefties lately and really haven't started hitting righties. Florida is at home and Mitre has been pretty good in his home starts. The Marlins are a tough lineup and although they also hit lefties alot better than righties so far, Lowe has been very inconsistent on the road. I think both pitchers do pretty well as neither team can hit righties well with the +107 being about 7-10 cents off.

New York Yankees -1.5 -145
Yankees/Rangers Under 10.5 -120

Pitchers: Wang/McCarthy

Wang dominated the Rangers twice last year and looked incredible last time out. The Rangers can't hit righties this season. They may be shutout. McCarthy is scary since he can give up a ton of runs which will hurt the -120 under, but if all goes to plan and he leaves early and we have a 6-0 Yankees score after the 5th, I think this sucker will go under.

Atlanta Braves -1.5 +100
Atlanta/SD Over 8.5 +100

Pitchers: Hudson/Wells

Hudson has put in a ton of quality starts but still generally gives up 2 or 3 runs which will greatly help the over. Wells can't pitch away from pitchers' paradise in SD and the Braves have had no trouble hurting lefties this year. I see them putting up 7 or 8 before all is said and done.

On a side note, I really need to get away from playing these -1.5 bets on the home team but so far I haven't had a team win by 1 and was burned a ton at the start of the year with big MLs that lost.

Predicted Lines:

Detroit -200, U9 -115
Minnesota -155, U8.5 -120
Oakland -150, U9.5 -112

Seattle Mariners +225
Pitchers: Weaver/Verlander

Speaking of teams that hit lefties much better than righties, the Tigers fall into that category. Weaver was dominating the Yankees until he ran into bad luck and freak hits and could very well put in a very good outing here. Seattle doesn't hit righties all that well either but Verlander usually gives up a few runs here and there. Detroit should be a nice park for Weaver to get it together in and the Mariners are a very live dog.

Minnesota Twins -120
Pitchers: Silva/Contreras

Oakland A's -131
Oakland/KC Over 9 -115

Pitchers: Kennedy/Bannister
