Stan Sharp leap-frogged Wunderdog with a 1~0 night that brings his season tracked record to 20~7 (74%). While this only moves him into 4<SUP>th</SUP> place overall, it should be noted that Stan Sharp has went 9~1 on his last 10 tracked plays. But the question is: How long can he keep this up? Is this streak going to end, or are there a few winners left? And at which point do you fade? Such are the questions of anyone tailing individual services.

A perfect example of hot and cold streaks is Larry Ness. This guy seems to ride a lot of six-day streaks. Six days of winning followed by six days of losing. And if history repeats itself again, we are on day three of another six-day cold streak.

The issue I came across was that there have been multiple days with plays from “Rockdeman” (which I thought might be a misspelling of “Rocketman” the first time I saw it). But now that I have seen this spelling on numerous occasions, I need to get Bookie Buster’s feedback. Furthermore, yesterday there were plays from both Rocketman Sports and Rockdeman Sports (and they were different plays). I personally think it’s a misspelling and multiple plays from the same source. But the consistency of the misspelling makes me want to be certain. Please stand by on this one.

Larry Ness' Daytime Delight-MLB (13-5 L/10 days in MLB!)
My Daytime Delight is on the LA Angels at 3:35 ET. I have to respect the fact that the Indians are 17-5 vs right-handed starters this year but it's hard NOT to take a shot here against Jeremy Sowers of the Tribe. While the Angels rank 24th in runs scored (4.06/game), they should be able to get to Sowers. In his last outing (Saturday), he lasted just two innings vs the Orioles, allowing five hits and six ERs. He's yet to earn a win in six starts this season (0-2, 5.87), with the Indians going 2-4 in his starts. Meanwhile, LA's Kelvim Escobar has been very good. He made two early April starts going 1-1 with a 3.18 ERA but then went on the DL with some irritation in his shoulder. He returned to the rotation on April 24 and has shown no ill-effects. In his three most recent starts, he's 2-0 with a 2.66 ERA, as the Angels have won all three. The Angels have stumbled some lately but last night's comeback win (3-2), gives them a 13-6 home mark. Halladay is partly to blame, as he was tagged for 9 runs and a career high-tying 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings last Saturday at Texas. But that was the first loss since August 31 of last season for the Blue Jay ace, and he is 1-0 with a 2.93 ERA vs. the Red Sox in two starts this season. Overall, last month, Halladay was 4-0 with a 2.28 ERA over 47 1/3 innings, and he was named American League Pitcher of the Month. Over his last 25 home decisions, Halladay is 20-5, and his mound opponent, Tim Wakefield, has a 4.51 career ERA at Rogers Centre. I expect another dominant performance by Halladay tonight. MLB Tampa Bay vs. BaltimoreTake Baltimore Orioles Tampa Bay lost in Baltimore yet again on Wednesday and the way it lost culminates the way it has been at Camden Yards for some time now. The Devil Rays ruined a great pitching performance from James Shields as the offense could not plate a run in 10 innings. Tampa Bay has now dropped 23 of the last 31 meetings in Baltimore including five straight. The Devil Rays have now scored three runs or less in five straight games and have scored more than five runs once in their last 13 games. Casey Fossum pitched brilliant in his last outing but expect a letdown here. He threw that last game in honor of Josh Hancock who was a former teammate and roommate so the focus won’t be nearly as strong this time around. Fossum has struggled on the road throughout his career as he is 13-26 with a 5.77 ERA and 1.61 WHIP in 82 career road starts. His last road outing this year resulted in nine runs in five innings at Oakland. He has a ridiculous 1.70 career WHIP at Camden Yards. Daniel Cabrera was excellent in his last outing against the Indians and he should carry that right over into this game. He allowed one run on just three hits in seven innings of work. He was efficient and his pitch counts per batter were down and that is the one thing that makes him successful. Carrying that momentum helps when facing a team with confidence when pitching against as he has owned the Devil Rays, going 3-0 with a 2.79 ERA in seven career starts, five of which were Baltimore wins. The recent line of Fossum sets the Orioles up in a solid situation. Play on American League home favorites with a money line of -150 or more that are averaging 4.7 rpg or less on the season going up against a starting a pitcher who gave up one or less earned runs last outing. This situation is 68-15 against the moneyline (81.9 percent) since 1997 with the average run differential being +2.4 in those 83 games. My free pick of the day is the game between (969) CLE Indians and (970) LA Angels. Take "(969) CLE Indians". A hot team against a cold one. There's a big difference in offenses with these two. In an uninspiring 5-1 loss to Cleveland, Indians lefty Cliff Lee needed only 102 pitches to carve up the Angels for a complete game three-hitter, sending the Angels to their third straight loss and fifth loss in six games. Angels Manager Mike Scioscia said, "We've been struggling to get guys on and get them in. Some of our guys have been pressing a bit." Indeed, the Angels are 10th in the AL in on-base percentage, rarely draw walks, and are second to last in home runs. The Indians have no such concerns, with an offense that is 3rd in OBP and homers. After getting shut down by one Cleveland lefty, they face another one here in Jeremy Sowers, who has a career 2.57 ERA against the Angels (14 IP). Play the Indians

My Daytime Delight is on the LA Angels at 3:35 ET. I have to respect the fact that the Indians are 17-5 vs right-handed starters this year but it's hard NOT to take a shot here against Jeremy Sowers of the Tribe. While the Angels rank 24th in runs scored (4.06/game), they should be able to get to Sowers. In his last outing (Saturday), he lasted just two innings vs the Orioles, allowing five hits and six ERs. He's yet to earn a win in six starts this season (0-2, 5.87), with the Indians going 2-4 in his starts. Meanwhile, LA's Kelvim Escobar has been very good. He made two early April starts going 1-1 with a 3.18 ERA but then went on the DL with some irritation in his shoulder. He returned to the rotation on April 24 and has shown no ill-effects. In his three most recent starts, he's 2-0 with a 2.66 ERA, as the Angels have won all three. The Angels have stumbled some lately but last night's comeback win (3-2), gives them a 13-6 home mark. The Blue Jays have dropped eight straight games, and the main culprit has been their pitching. Over this stretch, Toronto has surrendered 64 runs, or 8 a game. Halladay is partly to blame, as he was tagged for 9 runs and a career high-tying 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings last Saturday at Texas. But that was the first loss since August 31 of last season for the Blue Jay ace, and he is 1-0 with a 2.93 ERA vs. the Red Sox in two starts this season. Overall, last month, Halladay was 4-0 with a 2.28 ERA over 47 1/3 innings, and he was named American League Pitcher of the Month. Angels Manager Mike Scioscia said, "We've been struggling to get guys on and get them in. Some of our guys have been pressing a bit." Indeed, the Angels are 10th in the AL in on-base percentage, rarely draw walks, and are second to last in home runs. The Indians have no such concerns, with an offense that is 3rd in OBP and homers. But Lincecum get hit pretty hard in an 8-5 loss to the Phillies in San Francisco. The Giants should have an easier time of it tonight in Colorado as the Rockies are in a bit of disarray right now. The Devil Rays ruined a great pitching performance from James Shields as the offense could not plate a run in 10 innings. Tampa Bay has now dropped 23 of the last 31 meetings in Baltimore including five straight. The Devil Rays have now scored three runs or less in five straight games and have scored more than five runs once in their last 13 games. Casey Fossum pitched brilliant in his last outing but expect a letdown here. He threw that last game in honor of Josh Hancock who was a former teammate and roommate so the focus won’t be nearly as strong this time around. Fossum has struggled on the road throughout his career as he is 13-26 with a 5.77 ERA and 1.61 WHIP in 82 career road starts. His last road outing this year resulted in nine runs in five innings at Oakland. He has a ridiculous 1.70 career WHIP at Camden Yards. Daniel Cabrera was excellent in his last outing against the Indians and he should carry that right over into this game. He allowed one run on just three hits in seven innings of work. He was efficient and his pitch counts per batter were down and that is the one thing that makes him successful. Carrying that momentum helps when facing a team with confidence when pitching against as he has owned the Devil Rays, going 3-0 with a 2.79 ERA in seven career starts, five of which were Baltimore wins. The recent line of Fossum sets the Orioles up in a solid situation. Hondo Lost With the Giants Yesterday
Same old Benitez. The Giant closer opened the door for a Metamucil victory yesterday, which sent Hondo to his third straight defeat and caused the earnings to tumble to 590 maglies.
Today, he'll take a wild stab with Weaver and the M's against the Tigers and a more controlled stab with Sowers and the Tribe against the Angels. Ten units apiece.

A hot team against a cold one. There's a big difference in offenses with these two. In an uninspiring 5-1 loss to Cleveland, Indians lefty Cliff Lee needed only 102 pitches to carve up the Angels for a complete game three-hitter, sending the Angels to their third straight loss and fifth loss in six games. Angels Manager Mike Scioscia said, "We've been struggling to get guys on and get them in. Some of our guys have been pressing a bit." Indeed, the Angels are 10th in the AL in on-base percentage, rarely draw walks, and are second to last in home runs. The Indians have no such concerns, with an offense that is 3rd in OBP and homers. After getting shut down by one Cleveland lefty, they face another one here in Jeremy Sowers, who has a career 2.57 ERA against the Angels (14 IP).

Angels right-hander Kelvim Escobar was one of the least fortunate pitchers in all of baseball last year. He was plagued by a lack of run support and consistently awful defense. This season, those breaks are evening-out a bit, and now that's he's apparently healthy, Escobar has been worth backing. I'll take my chances with the tough Venezuelan here and go with the Angels to top the Indians.

Jeremy Sowers has gotten off to an awful start as he is still looking for his first win on a team that has done well. With the way the White Sox have handled right-handed pitching (156-92) and have performed as a road dog (35-21) at this price the past three years, there's no reason to not play them against the Twins. The Pale Hose also fit into a 41-21 angle as road dog when posted 'total' is 8 to 8 1/2 runs. RHP Jose Contreras has been adequate 3-2 (3.72) against Minny while his right-handed counterpart Carlos Silva is just 4-7 with 5.75 ERA facing ChiSox. The Twins are hitting just .244 at home and are averaging less than four runs a game. That won't bode well for Minnesota if Silva gets lit up like he has in the past in this matchup. It's no longer a question of whether Barry Bonds will break Hank Aaron's all-time home run record, it's simply of matter of when. A much bigger question is whether the Giants have enough talent overall to get to the postseason. They recently brought up phenom pitcher Tim Lincecum from AAA where his numbers were almost inhuman. But Lincecum get hit pretty hard in an 8-5 loss to the Phillies in San Francisco. The Giants should have an easier time of it tonight in Colorado as the Rockies are in a bit of disarray right now. Right-hander Aaron Cook goes to the mound for Colorado. He has not fared well this season at his home park where he is 0-1 with a 6.50 ERA in 18 innings pitched. He also has not fared well against the Giants as Colorado has lost the last seven games versus San Francisco in which Cook has started. Giants lefthander Noah Lowry has been one the team's most consistent starters this season and he is undefeated in his last three starts (3-0). Finally, the Rockies best offensive player, outfielder Matt Holiday, is listed as questionable tonight in this one. Take the Giants
