You see it all the time in sports. When an important figure in the organization is in the news all of the time, especially during the offseason, it leads to a terrible season.

Recent Examples:

Big Ben motorcycle = Steelers are bad
Tony LaRussa DUI = Cardinals are bad
Barry Bonds had a serious media frenzy with steroids LAST season = terrible season for him and Giants

Michael Vick can't seem to keep himself out of the media right now. Coupled with Petrino being an overrated signal caller, and his first year in the NFL, and Falcons look like a great fade this year.

Too early to judge the Cardinals. If they are bad this year the DWI has nothing to do with it. Big Ben was coming off a super bowl year and all teams off that seem to have trouble. Plus he was badly injured and it akes time. Bonds team sucked period last year circus or no circus.

You mght be on to something on the Falcons though. Must wait and see though.

Not only that BOX. Check out there defense. Grady Jackson (suing the Falcons), Rod Coleman is out for probably the first three games, Demario Williams just had surgery and might be ready for week 1. Obviously the main part of this team is Vick....I really hope to see more Norwood this season.
