I bet David Wells blows up this inning.

He spent the entire inning running on the base paths. Now im glad he got a hit.

I bet hes huffing and puffing in the dugout.

This should be fun to watch.

Guess I'm the lone Padres backer here. Not surprised that Wells settled down. Too many people willing to toss him to the curb too quickly. Comparing him to Jeff Weaver? Yikes. Anyway, from what I can tell Hudson has 37 pitches through 3. Atlanta's bats don't worry me nearly as much as they did 2 weeks ago, so hopefully Wells can go 6 or so and the Padres can start chipping away. Currently have a man on first with nobody out. Oh, and last I saw the Pads were +400 in the in-game betting at MB. In a 2-0 game, even against Hudson, that's pretty tempting.

Im on the pads also, starting to look much better now.

Yup. Wish I had had the guts to take the +400 when I had the chance. Still a very tough road ahead of the Pads, but Hudson's up to 59 pitches.

One of the Braves announcers just said one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Talking about the Pirates 15-18 record, he said that Pitt is 6-0 against the Astros, and if you take those games out of their (Pirates') record, "they aren't all that hot". Well, why don't they just take out all 15 wins from their record? That would make them 0-18 and maybe one of the worst teams ever. These guys have such a weak product that they have to think up stupid asshole shit like that to talk about? They could take the 1-5 record they have against Milwaukee out and the Pirates would have a winning record, so WTF? Anyways, is it just me, or did anyone else catch how stupid that announcer sounded?
