he did what he had to do to not let Oscar win, which won it for him.
him and oscar should give back half of their take
wow i didn't know if someone held a different opinion than you it made that person a moron.
Viewing pleasure? I was interested in seeing a good fight, not one fighter scrambling to get some big hits in and try to take out the quicker, faster fighter. I saw the quicker, faster fighter showcasing those 2 abilities and not doing shit else. Mayweather was more concerned with showing everyone that De La Hoya was too slow for him rather than actually utilizing his speed to lay the wood against him.
Don't tell us what our definition of a good fight is, and regardless it is all subjective. And yes, I love pitchers duels.
Don't post if you can't deal with disagreement.
You'll admit he won the fight and has handled himself with class since the fight

Something I've never understodd about boxing scoring...
Is the scoring just based on number of punches actually landed, or some percentage, etc..? i.e. is it just a numbers game? OR, does it matter at all how hard or "effective" the punches are? Do weak hits count the same as strong ones? Or is it a judge-by-judge thing?
On a pure numbers game, it was clear that Mayweather won. But judging based on punch quality, I thought DLH landed much more effective and impressive power punches. Of course, they were never enough to knoch FMJ down or hurt him really bad, but ot my untrained eye they seemed more powerful. Just not sure if that counts at all.
I thought DLH was more impressive with his combinations, but then again I am really an unskilled eye at these things. Don't even know the real basis for judging.
